Android_device_samsung_dropad is a project mainly written in C and C++, it's free.
CM7 device for Dropad-A8
A work in progress device for the Samsung S5pv210-based Dropad A8 / Herotab C8 capacitive tablet. The factory software leaves a lot to be desired, and CM7 is pretty much the best out there, with the tablet tweaks that exits now!
Download the vendor-samsung-dropad stuff from my git as well. Edit the files in /vendor/cyanogen to add this device to the build/selection. Then you can do a 'brunch dropad' followed by a 'make' (ignore the 'no bacon' error.) (I will fuse it into my own vendorsetup later.)
Stuff kanged from the vendor. Most of it needs testing, but we'll see how the initial build runs first, before jumping to conclusions :)

Added: CM7 tablet tweaks and soft-buttons. Can be turned off. See CM Settings > Tablet Tweaks at the bottom.Needs testing. Really. A lot. It's a beta now. Expect nothing :)

We probably need to shrink the image. The /system & init area is only 208 MB ubifs/ext4 so any space gain is welcome.
We need to get rid of the themes being built always even if we disable them in the makefile.. PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_DEFINES += SKIP_THEMES=true The above seems not to work.(Even if compared to the vega makefile and putting it in the exact same position..)
ALSA audio switching. Original board calls a .sh script file to switch to HDMI audio. Figure out how to enable HDMI video output and set resolutions (hack setting.apk from original?)
Adjust sensors (tilt is wrong)

ALSA (needs fixing badly, angry birds with no sound makes me sad.
