challenge

Challenge is a project mainly written in Ruby, it's free.

== Applicake Challenge runner

=== In order to check each challenge, run

ruby challenge_name/benchmark.rb

=== You can also run specs with

spec challenge_name/spec

=== How to add a solution for a challenge

There is a convention for adding solutions. If your solution is called speedkiller, then your solution file needs to be in a single file, called speedkiller.rb and it has to be put in the solution directory (inside a challenge directory). So some_challenge/solutions/speedkiller.rb

The file either defines a class or a module, which has to be called exactly like the file, so in our case:

class Speedkiller end

Now if a method is benchmarked, say it's called some_method, then this method has to begin with the name of your solution, like this:

class Speedkiller def speedkiller_some_method end end

If it's not clear by now, take a look at the current solution, it should clarify the way it's done.

If you want your solution added to the repo, please contact @kiszal or @marcinbunsch

NOTE: This structure will be simplified in the near future, it was more of a working draft than a real engine :)

Challenge benchmark and spec engine was created by @marcinbunsch. Thx dude!
