In Model: class User < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :avatar, :as => :assetable, :dependent => :destroy acts_as_attach_file :avatar end

In View:

<% content_for(:head, attach_include_files) %> ... <%= form.attach_file(:avatar, :file_max_size => 1) %> ...
