Description: cctools contains much of the development toolchain for Mac OS X, much like GNU binutils. Among other tools, it includes Apple's versions of ar, as, nm, strings, strip, and an older version of ld. Apple's version of as is based on GNU as 1.38.
Local Modifications: Only this file, README.toolwhip, has been added to the local vendor branch. All other local modifications are made on the local trunk.
