Colorful Commits is a Chrome extension and also a user script for GreaseMonkey which colors the commit lists of GitHub repos according to the first six... Well, it's easier to show a screenshot:

Installation

For Chrome: install the extension from the Chrome Web Store

For GreaseMonkey: get the colorful_commits user script

Note on Patches/Pull Requests

• Fork the project.
• Make your feature addition or bug fix.
• Test it thoroughly in Chrome and also in Firefox with GreaseMonkey. (I haven't found a way to write tests for the extension yet.)
• Commit.
• Send me a pull request. Bonus points for topic branches.
