Corky

Corky is a project mainly written in Python, it's free.

Corky allows you to easily access server information using a RESTful API. Using JavaScript to get live updates on all kinds of standard server information or create your own custom plugins for Corky.

Corky 0.1

Requires: Python 2.6 or greater (I think). Probably only works on Linux based OS'

To Run:

  1. Make sure you have everything required
  2. run (as root) /usr/bin/python corky.py debug - if the server starts you should be good to go, if not fix what's wrong
  3. run /usr/bin/python corky.py start - this will start corky, visit http://YOUR-IP:8000 and you should see a welcome message
  4. To stop or restart(new plugins installed) using /usr/bin/python corky.py [stop|restart]

Tips: You might want to run Corky on cron in case it goes down for some reason. Simply add this to your root cron to start Corky very minute. If it's already running it will simply die. Make sure corky.py is actually the full path the where you've stored the corky script

* * * * * /usr/bin/python corky.py start

Plugins: SysInfo: General system information, cpu, load, memory , etc. sysload: Shows 1,5,15 minute average load memory: Shows free, used, used percentage and total memory
