Cross Compile Ruby

What

Just a simple script to cross compile ruby from a unix environment to windows.

This project was created to demonstrate how to cross compile Ruby and it's extensions with a minimum effort.

Dependencies

To use this Makefile you will need a Unix like system and the Mingw32 cross compiler.

How

To cross compile:

make

To "install" the cross compiled Ruby.

make install

Then copy the bin/ruby-mingw32 to a Windows system.

Note: You may need to set proper values for HOST and BUILD variables in the Makefile.
