To recreate an replicatable environment for django-instatrade:

mkdir django-instatrade cd django-instatrade virtualenv --no-site-packages --distribute .

clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/shuggiefisher/djinstatrade.git

activate the environment to ensure you use the environment's python binaries, and the system python binaries

source bin/activate

install the django requirements into the environment

pip install -r djinstatrade/requirements.txt

fix the site specific settings

cd djinstatrade nano -w sitespecific_settings.py

make sure the log file exists:

eg: touch ../tmp/djinstatrade.log

start the webserver

./manage.py runserver 8080
