We used Node.js on the server and jQuery in the browser. A single server thread receives all controls input from each player and calculates the evolution of state. You can get the entire game (server and client) from:

This game was created for a 48 hour GameJam Jan 29-30, 2011 at the NYU GameCenter in New York City. The team was bryan, josh, peter, scoty, and toby.
