filter-chown-chmod

Filter-chown-chmod is a project mainly written in ..., it's free.

Chainable scripts to restore an application to a previous state (ownership/permissions)

Unless specified differently in the individual code file, assume all code in this project is licensed under GPLv3

My intention is to assume the same license as the Debian package: http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/chiark-utils-bin

so as, if these scripts do ever cleaned up and in a reasonable state, that they may be considered for inclusion as a contrib/ to /usr/bin/summer as it is that output format which was used as the first test of these scripts.

filter-chown-chmod project is free software; you can redistribute them and/or modify them under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

These programs are distributed in the hope that they will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU General Public License for more details.

You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License with your Debian GNU/Linux system, in /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-3, or with the chiark-utils source package as the file COPYING; if not, email me at one of the addresses above or consult the Free Software Foundation's website at www.fsf.org, or the GNU Project website at www.gnu.org.

Initial push will be unclean (but mostly working) code.

I primarily use Debian GNU/Linux and intend to rework things into a cleaner form once Python 3 is the default in my main work enviroment (Debian)
