A Firefox 3.x profile with settings and add-ons that help to keep your privacy protected.

Preferences

  • Start browsing from the blank page
  • Don't automatically save downloads
  • Private browsing mode
  • Third-party cookies are disabled
  • Safe browsing is disabled (this is not a bug, but a feature, since visited websites are not reported anywhere)
  • Crash reports are disabled
  • Automatic browser and add-ons updates are disabled
  • Search engine suggestions are disabled
  • Use remote DNS when using SOCKS proxy
  • Geolocation is disabled
  • DOM Storage is disabled
  • Sending HTTP Referer is disabled

Installation

Unpack the profile to the Firefox profiles directories depending on your OS (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles) using the following name convention:

randomstring.privacysucks/

Start Firefox with ProfileManager and select this profile.

firefox -profileManager -no-remote
