gitrss

Gitrss is a project mainly written in Ruby, it's free.

RSS feed for git commits.

RSS feed for git commits.

For those who don't put all their repos on Github, this script generates an RSS feed. Call in a git post-receive hook script like so:

ruby /home/git/tools/gitrss/gitrss.rb /home/git/my-repo.git my-repo.git >/home/www-data/sites/gitrss.mysite.com/my-repo.rss

Then point your Apache to the directory where gitrss.rb writes its output to (/home/www-data/sites/gitrss.mysite.com in this example). After the next commit, you can subscribe to your RSS feed with any modern RSS reader.

I believe this is a modified version of a script that I found here: https://gist.github.com/475818. Original authors are Ryan Florence (http://ryanflorence.com) and Chris Dinger.
