i-mscp-bot - A bot for IRC that answer to some queries

I. Introduction

The i-mscp-bot is able to join one or more IRC channels and listen to them. Then, the
connected users can query the bot about any ticket or changeset from Trac.

For now, the bot is able to answer two queries:

1. Tickets:

If you type '#60' on IRC where 60 is the ticket number, then the bot will answer by
providing some information about the ticket such as the summary, the owner, reporter

Also, if you type '#last' , the bot will answer by providing same information but for
the last ticket.

2. Changeset:

If you type 'r4600' on IRC where 4600 is a specific revision, the bot will answer by
providing the link to the changeset. Also if you type 'rlast' the link to the last
changeset will be returned by the bot.

II. Requirements

• PHP >= 5.2
• PHP Curl extension

III. Installation instructions (Debian >= Squeeze)

As root user:

1. Getting latest version:

 # cd /usr/local/src
 # svn export https://i-mscp.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/i-mscp/branches/i-mscp-bot

2. Installing libraries:

 # mkdir -p /usr/local/lib/iMSCP
 # cp -R ./i-mscp-bot/library /usr/local/lib/iMSCP

3. Installing the bot:

 # cp ./i-mscp-bot/i-mscp-bot /usr/local/bin
 # chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/i-mscp-bot

4. Make the bot a daemon:

 # mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/init.d
 # cp ./i-mscp-bot/init.d/i-mscp-bot /usr/local/etc/init.d
 # chmod a+x /usr/local/etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot
 # ln -s /usr/local/etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot /etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot
 # insserv /etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot

5. Starting the bot
 # /etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot start

IV.  Uninstall intructions (Debian >= Squeeze)

As root user:

/etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot stop

rm -Rf /usr/local/lib/iMSCP

rm /usr/local/bin/i-mscp-bot

insserv -r /etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot

rm {/etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot,/usr/local/etc/init.d/i-mscp-bot}
