Description

Semi-clone of the Google I/O 2011 countdown clock. It was created using the Andengine 2D physics engine. I hacked this out in 24 hours for the Google Android Last call contest. Then sadly I submitted it at 5AM, the email bounced and woke up past the deadline. Oh well, so is life. Hopefully this code can be useful to someone. Enjoy ;-)

Problems

• Really slow animation! I'm using PNGs to create sprites for each ball. There is so much room for optimization its not even funny.
• Countdown is fixed for the 2011 Google I/O conference. Should have an options menu to change it.
