This JQuery sound plugin is based on Thomas Fuchs's article on embedding sounds into a page. If you have not done so please read the article first before using the plugin at http://mir.aculo.us/2011/03/16/how-to-play-a-sound-in-a-web-browser-it-aint-easy/

To use the plugin follow the code template below:

var snd1,snd2,snd3; if($.sound.support) { snd1 = $.sound.load('/sounds/snd1'); snd2 = $.sound.load('/sounds/snd2'); snd3 = $.sound.load('/sounds/snd3'); }

snd1.play();

Important note: notice the path to the sound file does not contain the file extension. As per Thomas Fuchs' article you should have 3 formats for each sound file: mp3, ogg, m4a. The plugin will load the appropriate format based on the browser's sound support.
