Kindle-maker is a project mainly written in RUBY and SHELL, it's free.
Convert the contents of a Wordpress blog into a Kindle-compatible ZIP file.
Export a Wordpress blog to a Kindle-compatible ZIP file that can be published to the Kindle store.
Step 1: Get an export XML file via the export feature of Wordpress Step 2: Create a file called introduction.txt, and fill it with the content for your first chapter. It'll be called "Introduction" Step 3: Run the parser:
ruby parser.rb "Sean Schulte" wordpress.8-01-2010.xml
Step 4: Load the file in your browser (I've tested this with Chrome), and save it (File->Save) to the target/blog directory that was created during the parsing process Step 5: Run the zip processor:
sh process_zip.sh
Step 6: Upload the ZIP file to Amazon to publish it.
That's it. Six steps. (Writing all the content not included.)
