A Lorem ipsum generator for Mac OS X
lipService is a simple tool that allows for the quick and easy generation of "greeked text" or "Lorem ipsum" for use as placeholder text in page layout, web design, word processing, etc.
The installer places lipService.service in your /Library/Services folder. In order to try it out, launch TextEdit, and right-click (or control-click) in the Text View. At the bottom of the contextual menu that appears, you should see "Generate Lorem Ipsum Sentence" and "Generate Lorem Ipsum Paragraph".

This version of lipService requires Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or later. An older version, entitled "lipServiceX", is available for those of you running 10.5 or earlier, at iWorkCommunity.com
In any open application, go to the Application menu, and choose Services > Services Preferences. You can enable or disable specific services, and change keyboard shortcuts if you wish.
You may not find the services in the contextual menu right away. If they aren't appearing, you can try one of two things:
Log out, and then log back in.
Open the terminal, and run the following command:
