Badges for Confluence

To launch (developer):

1. Install the Atlassian SDK
   http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEVNET/Setting+up+your+Plugin+Development+Environment

2. Launch the command atlas-debug in the project folder
3. Confluence will start and will be accessible at http://localhost:1990/confluence

How to add an achievement

1. Add the achievement definition in resources/data/achievements.json
2. Add a value for the ref in AchievementRefEnum
3. Create a new rule in com.tcs.confluence.plugins.badges.rules package 3.1 For event based rule extend AbstractEventBasedRule

Overview

Achievements/Badges are defined in 3 files:

• com.tcs.confluence.plugins.badges.data.ao.Achievement ==> Achievement class
• resources/data/achievements.json ==> definition of the achievements
• com.tcs.confluence.plugins.badges.data.ao.AchievementRefEnum ==> Ref enumeration

Notification of the user is done by:

• /includes/js/notification.js
• com.tcs.confluence.plugins.badges.rest.AchievementResource
