LaTeX Template for NIH Proposals

While the NIH provides formatting rules for proposals, it does not provide a LaTeX template. The set of files contained herein are available to help others use LaTeX to create a concise, well-formatted proposal using the new formatting guidelines defined in [SF424](http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/424/index.htm SF424).

These files should serve as a starting point; it is up to you to guarantee that your proposal adheres to the proper format specifications.

Formatting

• Font
  • Arial font, black in color, 11pt or larger
  • No more than 15 characters per inch.
  • No more than six lines per inch.
• Margin
  • 0.5" top, bottom, left, right
• Page
  • Single column
  • No page numbers
  • No footers or headers
