Introduction

ObjectiveFeed is a (still work-in-progress) Objective-C feed parser for Mac, iPhone and iPad

Implemented

• Basic RSS 2.0 feed parsing:
  • Channel info: title, link, pubDate
  • Entry into: title, link, pubDate
• Parse a NSData, or fetch an URL synchronously

1.0 features to implement

• Atom parsing
• Load data form URL asynchronously
• Store all the possible information from feeds
• Create thumbnail for posts (either from or the first image in the content)
• Usage guide and documentation

Future ideas

• Handle most common RSS Extensions (see rss-extensions.org for examples)
• Be able to write RSS/Atom feeds
• Check compatibility with older RSS versions
