Photo-rss-dir is a project mainly written in Python, it's free.
Python CGI script that reads all images of a directory and serves them ordered by age in a media rss feed.
photo-rss-dir provides a simple cgi script that generates a multimedia rss feed out of a folder of images on a webserver. It also supports sourcing pictures from facebook that are tagged with the person whose OAuth access token is provided in settings.FACEBOOK_OAUTH_TOKEN.
To test the cgi script change the location of PHOTO_DIR in the settings.py file to point to the photos folder in the photo-rss-dir. Then run:
python -m CGIHTTPServer
and in a different shell:
curl http://localhost:8000/cgi-bin/photorssdir.py
The result should look like this:

title

description

gpl.jpg
