My notes on using git ;-)
Global setup: Download and install Git git config --global user.name "[Name Surname]" git config --global user.email [email]
To add another machine you need to generate the public key: ssh-keygen -t rsa -C "[email]"
To clone a public repository in a new machine: git clone git://github.com/[username]/[repo name].git
After the creation of a repository from the website: mkdir [repo name] cd [repo name] git init touch README git add README git commit -m '[comment]' git remote add origin [email protected]:[username]/[repo name].git git push -u origin master
To add changes when change computer (for the first time) git remote rm origin git init git add . git commit -m '[comment]' git remote add origin [email protected]:[username]/[repo name].git git push -u origin master
Existing Git Repo (current 'origin'): git add . git commit -m '[message]' git push -u origin master
