simpleRenamer v2.0 - Reimplemented in Vala

Description

This is a simple console-based renamer tool written in Vala. The original project was written in Python.

Requirements

The requirements are Vala (tested with v0.10) and Gee.

Install

Type in the root directory:

$ make $ make install

Now you can start the program with 'simpleRenamer'.

Usage

simpleRenamer [OPTION...]

Help Options: -h, --help Show help options

Application Options: --pre=PREFIX set prefix that will be placed to the left of the number --post=POSTFIX set postfix that will be placed to the left of the number -l, --list=LIST use a list of files instead of all files in the directory -i, --interactive choose which files should be renamed interactive -c, --conserve conserve file extension -s, --start=START set startnumber
