h1. stasys – a static website generator system

h2. Current status

We are currently planning and gathering requirements. However, coding has also already started. Since stasys aims to not require external libraries, we first have to work on the foundations (utility classes and other low-level stuff).

In other words: stasys is not ready yet, not even for experimental use.

h2. System requirements

stasys works best with PHP 5.2 and 5.3, but most likely any version ≥ 5 should work.

We use Unicode in the source, so your editor and shell has to be able to handle UTF-8 data.

The code should work on Windows, but we have so far only tested it with Unix.
