= sfEmail plugin =

The sfEmailPlugin is a symfony plugin that allows to debug emails deliverability in development mode. All the emails are stored as the plain text files into /log/mail/ folder (by default). And you will be able to browse/view them via sfEmail module. This could be really helpfull for the cases when you are testing confirmation link integrated in emails, user registration information and don't have a way to use real deliverability.

== Installation ==

  • Install the plugin

  • Enable module in your settings.yml (optional)

    • sfEmail

    {{{ all: .settings: enabled_modules: [ default, sfEmail ] }}}

  • Make sure plugin will be able to create a folder mail in log directory or create it by yourself with 777 permissions.

  • Clear you cache

  • In order to use this plugin just use sfEmail as a class for sending emails instead of sfMail ( $mail = new sfEmail() )

  • Access the emails management module with the default route:

  • You're done.
