Sys-Detect-Virtualization is a project mainly written in Perl, it's free.

Perl module for detecting if a UNIX system is running as a virtual machine

This module attempts to detect whether or not a system is running as a guest under virtualization, using various heuristics.

INSTALLATION

To install this module, run the following commands:

perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install
