A collection of various things that I customized that are potentially overwritten by the system during updates/upgrades

• xdg-open /usr/bin/xdg-open A script that opens files and urls under various window managers. modified to allow for opening emacsclient when using the org-store-link or org-remember from chrome (and firefox?). As per http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg33861.html but adapted for lxde, xfce and generic open (the latter is untested)
