clone this repo

run 'sudo npm install' in cloned directory

'cd socket.io'

socket.io is vendored for now until they push their bugfix for latest chrome build to npm module

'sudo npm install' in that folder also

'cd ..'

'node news.js [optional port number, defaults to 8080]'

visit http://localhost:8080
