udfs

User defined functions for hive.

1. Day of Week from date string. Eg day_of_week("2011-05-06") will be friday
2. Hour of day from timestamp. Eg hour_from_ts(12312312311231)

Usage

create jar and copy the jar file + clojure file into hive. Add jar to hive ext jars, create functions in hive as: create temporary function hour_from_ts as 'runa.udfs.HourOfDay'; create temporary function day_of_week as 'runa.udfs.DayOfWeek';
