This folder is a collection of programs written in python, these are small utilities which can be used on daily basis.

FileInfo.py

• Description: Sometimes we want to know the total number of files of a certain type, Given the path name and extension this program display their names as well as the count of those files. Execution: python FileInfo.py -l /home/location/ -e *.ext Try -> python FileInfo.py -h to know the options.

ValidateURL.py

• Description: Given a url, this program validates the domain as well as the path (if it exists)
