PTConversation is a SMS style conversation view implemented for iPhone/iPod touch.
PTConversation view is a static library and we can simply add it to your project as XCode dependency project.
Clone PTConversation project from git clone git://github.com:lashad/PTConversation.git
Make sure you store in a permanent place because Xcode will need to reference the files every time you compile your project.
Drag PTConversationView.xcodeproj file under 'PTConversation/src' and drop it onto the root of your XCode project's "Groups and Files" sidebar. In dialog box make sure 'Copy items' is unchecked and 'Reference Type' is 'Relative to Project'.
Link static library PTConversationView.xcodeproj/libPTConversationView.a. First Expand the 'Targets => You project Name' section. Then drag libPTConversationView.a item and drop it onto the 'Link Binary With Libraries' item.
We need to add PTConversation as a dependency of your project. Expand the 'Targets' section of the sidebar and double click your application's target. Under the 'General' tab you will see a 'Direct Dependencies' section. Click the + button, select 'PTConversationView', and click 'Add Target'.
We need to add the bundle of images to your project. Drag 'PTConversationView.bundle' under 'PTConversation/src' and drop it into your project. In dialog box make sure 'Create Folder References' is selected, 'Copy items' is unchecked, and 'Reference Type' is 'Relative to Project'. Then click 'Add'.
We need to add the AddressBook and AddressBookUI frameworks into your project. Double click your application's target under 'Targets' section. In 'General' tab you will see a 'Linked Libraries' section. Click the + button, select AddressBook and AddressBookUI frameworks and click 'Add'.
Under 'Build' tab search 'Header Search Paths'. Add the relative path from your project's directory to the 'PTConversation/src' directory.
Finally you need to #import "PTConversation/PTConversationViewController.h" anywhere in your project.
